Hebrews 4

Hebrews 4 continues the writer’s emphasis on “rest” that comes through our
great High Priest.

An eternal rest remains for those who continue in faith, allowing the Word
of God to search us deeply and compelling us to draw near to Jesus, our
superior High Priest, who in His humanity helps us in our distress and in
His sinless divinity redeems us

Hebrews 3

Hebrews 3 is a call to consider Jesus, the builder of God’s house.

Consider Jesus, who is God’s Son, as superior to Moses, God’s servant, and
hold firmly to Him to the end by being watchful, practicing
self-examination, and entering His rest with persevering faith.
