We will be observing Communion during our morning services next Sunday, March 24.
LC Teens Missions Trip
On April 20, five students and two leaders will be heading to Guatemala. They will be ministering through Kids Alive International at the Oasis. At the Oasis they will be serving the missionary and national staff as well as the girls being cared for there. Would you please pray for the physical and spiritual preparation of the team, unity and sufficient financial support? If you would like to know more about the trip or how to help support it, talk to Ethan Appell or one of the students going.
There’s an app for that!
Giving online, finding or viewing a group, viewing and registering for events, updating your contact information with the church office… there’s an app for that! Visit your app store and download “Church Center.” You’ll select our church and securely sign in, then explore the app and use it to stay connected.
A Bible Reading Plan for 2019
God’s plan for cultivating spiritual growth in His people involves loving and reading His Word. Since the Bible is the Word of God written, our spiritual maturity is rooted in our regular interaction with all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. Every Christian should make it a priority to know the Bible better than any other book. Pick up a Guide for the plan at Guest Services.
DivorceCare is a supportive, healing ministry to those experiencing separation/divorce. Join them Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in the Ministry Center. Brochures containing additional information are available at Guest Services. Questions may be directed to Darlene Klose, dklose3068@aol.com
GriefShare meets Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. These sessions are open to the public and may be joined at any time during the year.
LCC Email Database
Have you been receiving updates from LCC in the past few weeks through your emails? If not and you want to be, please fill out the welcome card in the back of your pew and check the box indicating that you want to receive church-wide emails.  This is a great way to stay in touch with the LCC body and what is happening.
Soccer Outreach
The LCC Soccer ministry is now meeting in the gym on Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM. Adults (and their children who can safely play with adults) are invited. Please pray for our ministry to the lost that attend, that they would listen to His Gospel. Details: https://www.meetup.com/Capital-Region-Outdoor-Pick-up-Games/
Volleyball Fellowship
Volleyball Fellowship meets on Monday evenings (7:30-9:30 PM) in the Loudonville Community Church gymnasium. We would love for new people to come and enjoy the energy and joy we experience as we encourage one another in playing our best! It is a time to fellowship with new and old friends that Christ has given us and keeps bringing together. It provides members and non-members the opportunity to socialize and learn from each other and show that God has a purpose for each and every one of us through a variety of ways as we interact with one another. Call the Church office (518)426-0751 with any questions.
LCC Service Directory
Our church provides a Service Directory in a binder at Guest Services. This binder contains different services offered by people of the church as well as employment opportunities, housing options, music lessons, business cards and more. Check it out for yourself or add something of your own. To submit your own advertisement, please contact the Church Office for approval.
Koinonia Family Fun Night
Looking for a summer missions trip, but you are not able to take the time off to do so? How about serving in Albany this summer on Tuesday nights at a cookout? Each Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 PM Family Fun Night happens on the lawn of Koinonia. This is a time for those who live in the area to come together and build a sense of community, feed those living there that are hungry, as well as show the love of God. If you are interested in serving, please contact Rebecca Parker at rjdaparker@gmail.com
Nominating Committee
The committee members are: Pamela Goodwin, Richard Chevrette, Matthew Dickson, Andrew English, Cynthia Hale, Volker Paedelt, Philip Schiesswohl and Paul Beck. Please pray for the committee as they seek God’s leading for the individuals He would have serve on the boards of LCC. If you know of someone who should be considered to serve on a board, contact one of the Committee members before May 19.
Soccer Outreach
Soccer Outreach is in need of leaders. If you have a passion to reach the lost and an interest in  soccer, even if you don’t play, please contact Rick Marsan at Rick.Marsan@gmail.com or (518) 505-6250. Your assistance can be as infrequent as once every few months for 3-4 hours on Tuesday evenings, held here at the gymnasium.
Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting
Wednesday night a group of people faithfully pray for our body using a weekly prayer guide. Join them at 6:30 PM in the Church Office Conference Room.
Library Help Needed
In order for the library to be open after the 11:00 AM service for half an hour, we need persons to work the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month. There is a 15-minute training for those interested in meeting this need. Contact Darlene Klose at dklose3068@aol.com
Doorkeepers Ministry
Help Needed – Shaping good first impressions is vital to LCC’s ministry as guests enter our building. Our Doorkeepers Ministry plays an important role in the Sunday morning experience. If you would like to serve as a “warm welcome” please email Diana Eckler at little.diana48@gmail.com or Pastor Jeff at jeffr@lcchurch.org
We know that when we hear stories of God’s power and grace manifested in people’s lives, we feel encouraged and our faith is deepened. Help us in an effort to encourage others by sharing your stories with us. Please email us at lifestories@lcchurch.org. Some of your stories have been posted on the LCC Facebook Newsfeed. Hear it for the first time or be blessed again! We encourage all LCC to keep sharing your stories of how God is working in your life with others. Shine His light in your life, that others may see. “Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!” – 1 Chronicles 16:8 If you have a LIFEstory and would like to share it with us, please email us at: lifestories@lcchurch.org
  • International Justice Mission Prayer Group: Room 325; Sundays @ 11:00 AM
IJM provides an updated prayer list each week for us to pray through. IJM strongly believes in the power of prayer. When we pray about the very difficult and painful circumstances in which IJM finds children, women and men, we partner with them and God himself, in setting them free. We learn a lot about various forms of human trafficking, slavery and other forms of oppression around the world and how IJM works not only to free those trapped, but also how it works with local governments, law enforcement and courts to reform justice systems.

Jesus said, “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Mark 11:17).  Please take some time to get familiar with our prayer ministries here at LCC.
  • Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting – Every Wednesday night a group of people faithfully pray for our body. The Church Office prepares a weekly prayer guide.  Join them every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM in the Church Office Conference Room.
  • Revival Through Prayer Ministry – This ministry meets twice a month to pray for revival in our church and the Capital District. Please join us in the Ministry Center as we bring our hearts and petitions before the Lord.
  •  E-Prayer Chain – As needs within our body arise, particularly those that are time sensitive or emergencies, those on our E-prayer Chain will receive an email. This venue is used only for the family of LCC and not for outside requests.  If you would like to receive these requests by the E-prayer Chain, please indicate that on the Welcome Card in the back of the pew.
  • Weekly Prayer Guide – If you would like to receive a weekly prayer guide via email, sign up by checking the box on the Welcome card. Hard copies are also available at the Information Center each Sunday.

Our 5th grade girls small group needs a leader to guide the group to meaningful interactions that deepen their faith in Jesus and influence their relationships with others.
