Based on availability, an LCC Pastor can provide comfort, family guidance and planning to conduct a funeral/memorial/internment service. This is only available for LCC attendees either on-site or through a local funeral home.
We love Baptism Sundays! We believe that Christian Baptism is a sacrament, that is, a visible sign of an invisible reality. It signifies that we accept the benefits which flow from the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It should be administered to believers based on the declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and their full intention to walk in holiness. Baptism is reserved for believers and is normally administered by immersion.
If you would like to be baptized here at LCC, your first step should be to attend Baptism Class. These classes are made available usually one time in the spring and fall. Attending these classes does not commit you to getting baptized, it will merely provide you with the information you need to better understand the Biblical view of baptism. Keep an eye on the Worship Guide for when the next Baptism Class will be.
If you are an active and regular attendee of LCC you are welcome to call the Church Office and request a pre-marriage booklet. This will provide you with other information about how to get married at LCC. Feel free to call the Church Office with any questions.
Dedication is an opportunity for parents to formally commit themselves to the awesome responsibility of bringing up their children “in the training and instruction of the Lord”
Parents must confess their own faith in Jesus Christ and their desire to follow and serve Him all the days of their life. They must also commit themselves to the sacred task of raising their children in the training and instruction of the Lord, to live before this child a life that befits the Gospel both by word and example, and to prepare for the day when this child will choose to follow Christ for himself as Savior and as Lord.
Dedication is also an opportunity for the congregation to commit themselves to supporting and encouraging these parents in this sacred task.
To dedicate your child at LCC, call the Church Office to schedule a Sunday for the dedication. A pastor will be assigned based on availability.
