Loudonville
Christian School
Loudonville Christian School is a dynamic Christian school with an exceptional history and vibrant vision for the future. Since 1960, many families in New York's Capital Region have benefited from the school's commitment to high scholastic standards and an evangelical view of God and the world.
The Bible says that the mind is the key to becoming conformed to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29) and that, once we become Christians, we should be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). What children and young people do with their minds is important to the Lord and to everyone who is committed to Him. One of the primary objectives of the school's ministry is this transformed, renewed mind, which begins with the new birth in Christ and progressively develops by academic and spiritual studies in which the Bible is central in learning and living.
LCS provides a God-honoring and nurturing setting in which the character, value, and thinking patterns of children and young people are shaped. The Christian school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Association of Christian Schools International; chartered by the Regents of the State of New York; and the high school is registered with the NYS Education Department. The school's Board oversees this ministry. Current School Board members are: Mike Collins (Chair), Fred Fowler (Vice Chair), Mary Skiff, Mary Louise Freda, Rich Paulsen, Bruce Kuhl, Tim Sutphen and Todd Thornton. Ex officio members include: Marilyn Nicolaisen (PTF president), Stan Key (LCC Senior Pastor), Dave Pollizter (Elder Liaison), Valyn Anderson (Headmaster), and Kathyrn Hills (Principal). There are also specific areas for which the LCC Trustees have oversight responsibility. Call the School Office at (518) 434-6051 for more information.
