Children's Ministries
Children's Church
Children
Ministries ranges from the age of newborn through the 6th grade.
Children's Church
- Liz Crachi
During the worship services, age-appropriate worship and Bible-focused activities are offered for two age groups of children. Three- and four-year olds meet together for the entire service under the direction of Liz Crachi. Children in kindergarten through second grade begin the hour worshiping in the sanctuary with their parents. Prior to the offering, the children are dismissed to meet their teachers in the Commons. Christine Averill is the leader of this school-aged group of children. This discipleship ministry relies on LCC adult and teen volunteers to provide the care and training for the children.

Christian Service Brigade

The Boys Brigade meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 PM when school is in session. It serves boys in grades pre-K through 12. Our goal is to help them develop a positive concept of Christian masculinity and to provide a dynamic means of outreach and evangelism to boys and their families. During the Winter-Spring 2007 session, Brigade is comprised of two groups, as follows:
Tree Climbers - a father and son meeting for grades 1-2
Stockade - for grades 3-6
Opportunities abound within the Brigade. You can help every week during the school year or once a year. Please pray for a strong ministry to the boys of LCC.

SonShine Station (Nursery)
Children
Ministries ranges from the age of newborn through the 6th grade.
SonShine Station (Nursery)
- Joy Mistur
The LCC Nursery (Sonshine Station) exists to serve families by providing care that expresses God's deep love for children under the age of three. A Team Leader oversees the whole Nursery operation of volunteers and parental needs; vibrating pagers are available for parents. We have created a system that prevents non-custodial parents or strangers from gaining access to the children. Volunteers who serve on a rotating schedule support the Team Leaders. If you are interested in becoming a part of this exciting ministry, call Joy Mistur at 426-0751. The LCC Nursery Leadership Team oversees the entire Nursery operation of maintaining equipment and resources, as well as recruiting and training volunteers.
Volunteer Needed –
The Sonshine Station currently has need of a volunteer to oversee coordination of programs.

Princess Club
- Kim Noakes
The Princess Club serves families as mothers mentor daughters in personal holiness under the authority of the Holy Scriptures. The 8-12 week club is a special program which seeks to be a tool for mothers to spend time with their daughters in discussing personal holiness for ages 7-12. We support mothers as they help equip their daughters to live a sanctified life for Jesus Christ. The weekly format includes interaction in a group, prayer partnerships, Scripture memorization, personal journaling and hands-on activities.
