Leadership Boards
Board of Deacons
- Dick Tyrrell
The Board of Deacons meets the third Tuesday of each month, manages the financial affairs of Loudonville Community Church, and develops policies and procedures to assist in conducting business in a God-honoring manner. Deacon Board minutes are posted on the Bulletin Board in the Narthex. The congregation, in accordance with the church Constitution, elects Deacons.
Members of the Deacon Board are: Dick Tyrrell (Chair), Valyn Anderson (LCS Liaison), Sandy Arnold (Secretary), Wallace Hills (Business Administrator), Richard Marshall (Elder Liaison), Carlyle Peterson, Sharon Root, Dan Rosenberger (Vice Chair), Jim Stori, and Scott Winne.
Board of Elders
- Duane Averill
The Elder Board consists of the pastors and six to ten men elected by the membership of the church to serve three-year terms. In addition to general leadership responsibilities, the Elders are charged with acting as trustees of the church in accordance with State law, interpreting the Church Constitution, electing persons to church membership, searching for and approving the calling of pastors, ensuring adequate coordination among the church boards and committees, approving nominees to the Loudonville Christian School, and other special tasks.
Members of the Board of Elders are: Duane Averill (Chair), Bruce Camilleri, Mike Conley (Pastor), Robert Duguid, Brent Jones, Stan Key (Pastoral Liaison), Ron Mackey, Richard Marshall, Dave Pollitzer, Gordon Tucker (Clerk), and Gerry Winn.
Christian Education Board
- Andrew English
The Christian Education Board provides leadership, structure, planning and support to CE ministries such as the children's and adult Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Christian Service Brigade, Pioneer Girls and Children's Church. The Chairman of the CE Board is elected by the LCC membership, and other members of the Board are appointed by the Pastor according to the Constitution.
Members of the Christian Education Board are: Andrew English (Chair), Jean Burns, Wallace Hills (Business Administrator), Brent Jones (Elder Liaison), Joy Mistur, and Dan Olson.
Missions Board

The Missions Board seeks to educate and mobilize the church to support the work of the missionaries through prayer and giving. The annual Missions Conference, the highlight each year, has a special speaker, reports and visits from missionaries, and informal chats and challenges. The Missions Conference dates for 2008 will be October XX-XX.
Members of the Missions Board are: Harmon Taylor (Chair), Susan Vosburgh (Vice Chair), Ruth Askey (Secretary), Paul Kirchner (Treasurer), Ellen Vosburgh, Tom Faulkner, Tatyana Moroz, Kim Melinsky,Don Jones (Director of Missions), Stan Key (Pastoral Liaison), Tom Hale (Elder Liason). Sunday School Department
Sunday School exists to teach God's plan for salvation and to offer the opportunity to respond to it. It provides fellowship and the means for spiritual growth while challenging believers to live a Christ-like life. Classes exist for all ages. Each quarter, a Sunday School brochure is published that lists current Sunday School classes. You can receive the latest brochure at the Information Center or by calling the Church Office at 426-0751.
